Ā
I absolutely LOVE this sweetieāsĀ name! When my friend, Judith was pregnant and she told me her name I was smitten from the start. Now that baby is here mom and dad actually call her Penny which is just as cute!
I have to admit. I thought big sister Alice was going to be the only one in their bunch. Judith and I along with 5 other ladies in our church were pregnant and all had babies within months of each other. Since we have been the only two to have singles while all our other mommas were having their seconds and some their thirds. We would always sit on the playground at mommyās day out while our kids played and talked. We would always talk about how unsure we were of adding a second to the family. Donāt get me wrong, I love my little girl, I love being a mommy, but having a child despite all the joys is hard work! Itās a very demanding but meaningful job. So for me having a business and being a mom requires every ounce of my energy. Judith expressed the same. Well during Christmastime when I was doing my charity event with Santa pictures, Judith and Kyle brought Alice in. After they were finished Judith said āwell I guess weāre going to need you for a newborn session come Julyā. I was so surprised and happy for her! I always brag that I find out about pregnant mommas before everyone, haha I love it!
I gotta tell ya, this girl looks just like sister! IĀ can close my eyes and remember Aliceās newborn pictures and Penny is the spitting images. There must be some strong genes floating around!
Of course we had to get a picture of the girls in their LA Tech tutus together since Kyle attended there and Judith became a professor for Tech. They bleed blue and red. And isnāt that the sweetest smile from big sister! Yeah I promised her a sucker after, that girl will do anything for suckers HAHA!
Iām actually a little nervous knowing Judith is going to possibly be reading this as sheās an amazing blogger herself. Just a little precaution Judith, as you read this know I only have a high school education from Quitman High, Iām ADD and my husband is convinced I have a bit of dyslexia. Oh squirrel!! Story of my life.
Good thing none of that matters in photography to really do what you want to do, man cause seriously I donāt know if I could last doing something else. I gotta have passion for what I do to go full force. While Iām not the best, Iām blessed I can do what I love to do.
Thanks again to the Roberts family for letting me be apart of such a joyous occasion. Iām so glad you decided not to stop at Alice, while she is perfect herself, I think Penny is gonna be a sweet addition to the family.
