Now Mayson is my smiley cutie here! Parents that come in with their 3 month-ers always always ALWAYS tell me how much their babies smile, did I say always. My reply is always the same “don’t be surprised if they don’t smile this time around. It’s not that your baby just all of a sudden stopped smiling when they come, it’s that at this age they are easily distracted. You have to remember a 3 month old does not move so their form of entertainment is looking around. I know, hours of fun right? So when they come into a new place with a new face, new surrounding, with lights a camera and my loud voice it can be quite entrancing and tiring. I catch 3 month smiles on the fly, it’s just a fact of life. I do not have 3 month-ers throwing me smiles like beads at mardi gras, I just don’t. So when Deanna told me he’d probably smile I’m ready for my spill. To my own surprise this boy started smiling as soon as he was set down and my jawed dropped. I just couldn’t believe how much he was loving it. Makes for a quick and easy session and I can’t wait to see what Mayson is doing during his 6 month session!
