Oh sweet little Amelie <3 you are just a ball of squishy goodness! When parents come in with their newborns and their baby has cheeks that weigh 1 lb on their own each, I can’t help but squeal. I LOVE me some chunky babies! After talking with Amelie’s momma while we were having a snack break, or Amelie was. I learned that this sweet baby was a pleasant surprise. Momma said she had just signed up for a triathlon, got some sponsors, and realized something wasn’t quite right. Seems momma was going to have to reschedule her competition for the next year cause she was going to be having a sweet baby girl at that time. Funny because when they came in for their newborn session she told me that the triathlon was actually going on right then. God has some pretty perfect plans doesn’t he. We decided to commemorate this story by photographing momma in her last uniform from her last triathlon with this precious girl. It will always be a lovely memory for mommy and daddy.
