Unlike the posed session which is staged and perfected this session is totally in the moment and natural. This session is focused more on family interacting with baby. No posed pictures will be taken during this time. This is great for families who want more candid photos and more family connection in their images.
Although I love to photograph babies in cute little outfits, posed in the cutest ways, I really love to photograph the family connection in lifestyle sessions. This is definitely nothing like a posed session where baby is the main focus, but more concentrated on the days with a new baby. I love to capture the everyday moments in lifestyle sessions. It could be mom doing laundry while she's bouncing her baby in a bouncer to soothe them. A sibling is filling the new role as the "big helper" as they get mommy a diaper. Maybe it's a pet snoozing at the feet of a new parent. I'm just enthralled with the everyday and find it a joyous challenge to convey those moments in a picture. I will however, guide into positions to create some groundwork so you don't feel overwhelmed not knowing what to do. I like to also get some looking at the camera, straightforward pictures as well.
Since this is more a style choice, it's not for everyone. If this sounds more your style, I'd love for you to consider me for this task!
