Miller Family | Ruston LA Family Photographer

Last week, I had the absolute pleasure of spending the afternoon with the Miller Family for an outdoor photo session at their beautiful home. The sun was shining, the birds were chirping, and I could already tell this would be a fun-filled day!

When I walked into the house, Brock Jr. was hiding around the corner. I really thought he would be shy but it didn’t take him long to warm up. This kid is a bundle of enthusiasm! As we began setting up, he was full of ideas. “Can we take pictures here?” he asked. “And what about over there by the windmill? But his big request that he prepped mom to ask was a picture on the dock. A picture we did last year. I’m a sucker for kids and if a kid requests something of me…you can bet it’s happening! His excitement was contagious, and I couldn’t help but smile.

This kid was hilarious and really showed his silly side, something I love to capture about kids. The icing on the cake was providing for his request and shooting on the dock!

By the end of the day, we had captured a wonderful mix of posed and candid moments. I left the Miller family feeling grateful to have spent the day with such a joyful bunch.

Family photography isn’t just about getting the perfect shot; it’s about creating memories that reflect who you are as a family. And with the Millers, we definitely succeeded in capturing their playful, loving spirit.
