Oh Cruzā¦now this is one funny little dude. Heās very chill and acts like I donāt even matter during his sessions. HAHA I literally laughed remembering his session. I usually make myself look like a fool when photographing my milestone babies. So you can picture this, photographer looking and sounding crazy and pan over to Mr. Cruz over here and tiny smirk. No joke! Heās gonna be a ladies man thatās for sure, I mean look at him! He gave in a smiled quite a bit though š
So call me crazy, but as a photographer I hate catching all smiling pictures. I mean I LOVE them but throw a few my way and Iām happy. Now letās have some fun! Letās eat our fist, sit up, stick our tongue out, and eat my props. Like seriously one of my favorite pictures is catching these little ones eating my props cause itās a memory, I mean all babies eat everything in sight. Isnāt that the point of pictures! I mean one of my favorite pictures our then photographer took of my baby girl is her sticking her bottom lip out, out of protest to the tummy time picture she was trying to catch. I always thought it was cute when she cried (I know Iām mean) and now Iāll never have to forget what she looked like! After I and Brea (Cruzās mommy) were both making idiots of ourselves, Cruz decided to stick his little tongue out and Brea caught a glimpse of the image on the back of my camera with which she said āI love that cause he does that all the time.ā. Thatās what Iām here to capture. The memories, not the perfect children you think youāre children should be. Reality, theyāre not perfect and they shouldnāt be like plastic dolls we fold them in poses for. Donāt apologize if theyāre not perfect, I donāt want them to be. No, theyāre humans with thoughts, feeling, and emotions. We should like them be kids.
