Here at A Thousand Words Photography we have a new website which means a new blog. I have been quite…how do you say it…TERRIBLE at blogging in the past. I hope to change that and start anew! That means I want to start blogging about all my sessions and photography adventures along the way. If I can! So to start off the very first post I’ll be talking about this little cutie right here.
Payton came to me when she was an itty bitty newborn. She has quite a little personality and I can already tell she’s all girl! She’s as pretty as they come. For all my milestone sessions I like to literally catch the milestones your baby is doing at that time. 6 months is probably the most fun stage, at least to me. Baby is sitting (or starting to), finding their feet, and yes still eating their fists. I just love to imagine what their thinking! Like they’ve always had their feet but they finally discover it and I think “do they think that’s new?”. I especially love crying shots!! HAHA! I know that may sound mean, but I truly think it is so cute when a baby is throwing a fit crying. Let’s face it, they cry a lot and it’s fun to look back and remember. Payton became quite upset trying to sit up so every time we would sit her up she cried. We eventually had to take a paci break. Oh how those pacis are magical!
The first year is really fun and it’s only beginning. Being the mother of a now 2 year old, I look back and remembering think how each month was more fun then the previous one. It only gets better! Enjoy every moment, every laugh, every milestone. Don’t let just your mind handle the memories, let the photographs.
Because a picture’s worth 1000 words.
