I was so honored to photograph Torey Womack and Will Wallis’ engagements, Torey’s bridals, and their wedding. They have been such a wonderful couple to work with. Torey as you can see is such a gorgeous girl and she’s super sweet. I’ve enjoyed every step of capturing their journey.
I’ve always loved “The Norton Building” in Ruston. It’s like the best of both worlds when it comes to indoor or outdoor wedding. With the open roof it lets in beautiful natural light to get that lovely airy feel. The exposed brick walls give a priceless rustic feel. I’ve photographed one other wedding at this venue and loved every image. Truly a gorgeous place to have a wedding.
With the continuous rain throughout the last couple weeks, I was nervous about the weather for Saturday but to my surprise the rain held off for the day! There were a few times I thought it would sprinkle but thankfully we were completely dry!
It truly was the perfect day and I loved the how everything came together. Torey and her family did a wonderful job decorating. So enough talk, and here are some of my favorites from the day….maybe with a little comments in between.
Cake made by none other then Social Bites of Ruston. Always the best!
I’m always obsessed with new and interesting spins on traditions and this rocked my world! Coming from the verse in the Bible that a strand of three is not easily broken (Ecclesiastes 4:12). Bro Randy explained how God needed to be in their lives as the 3rd to complete and keep their marriage strong. I completely agree!
I overhead Torey warned Will not to smash cake in her face beforehand, and as you can see the death stare after some neglect on his part.
Had to grab a shot of the corked wine. So many times at weddings, it seems a corkscrew is always forgotten for the toast. So when you can’t open a wine bottle, you go to the next best thing. Sweet tea!! Always MY fav.
Congratulations Will and Torey Wallis!
Hope you have many years of life and laughter together <3
