Maisie’s Sweet Newborn Session
Little Maisie was an absolute rockstar for her posed newborn session in my Jonesboro, Louisiana studio. From the moment she arrived, her calm demeanor and sleepy personality made it clear this was going to be one of those dreamy sessions that every newborn photographer hopes for. Her grandmother had reached out to me shortly after Maisie’s birth, and by a stroke of luck, I had an open morning on my calendar. That meant Maisie was able to come in during the peak window for newborn posing, which is always the best time for capturing those curled, sleepy portraits. I was so thankful we were able to make it happen.

Maisie was the sweetest little model. Her round, squishy cheeks made every angle of posing even more precious, and she was so perfectly content the entire time. From the first pose to the last, she slept soundly, never once fussing or stirring. She was so limp and relaxed in my hands, allowing me to gently mold her into each of the classic newborn poses that parents love.
